Amanda & the Birds

AATB is an indie-rock band based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The group was founded by lead vocalist and guitarist Amanda Duncan, a local educator who balances her musical career with her role as an eighth-grade teacher for Tulsa Public Schools. She eventually teamed up with cellist/bassist Kes Mitchell, drummer David Mullenax, and lead guitarist Mackenzy Murray to create the sound the band is known for today. 

Since their debut in April 2025, the group has quickly become a staple of the local community, headlining sold-out shows at Thelma’s Peach and performing at iconic Tulsa venues like the Mercury Lounge.
